One of the best parts of reading is sharing ideas with others. That's why we host four book clubs at the shop each month. The clubs meet once a month at Books & Company in Hellerup and are open to all ages and nationalities.


Book Club 'Numero Uno'

Led by member-turned-leader Olivia Burchea, Book Club 'Number One' meets in the bookshop on the last Tuesday of each month. 

Previous book club books include: My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent, The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck, Artemis by Andy Weir, Idaho by Emily Ruskovich, and Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine  by Gail Honeyman. 


Book Club 'Part Deux'

Led by the lovely and talented Erika Cordes, Book Club 'Part Deux' meets in the bookshop on the fourth Monday of each month. 

Previous book club books include: The Lowland by Jhumpa Lahiri, Faithful by Alice Hoffman, Spill Summer Falter Wither by Sara Baume, The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead, and Anything is Possible by Elizabeth Street.



Book Club 'Il Terzo' 

Hosted by Melissa Merc 'Il Terzo' meets the second Tuesday of every month. 

Previous book club books include: Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng, Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel, The Wonder by Emma Donoghue, The Refugees by Viet Thanh Nguyen and The Bastard of Istanbul  by Elif Shafak.


Book Club 'The Fourth Estate' 

'The Fourth Estate' started last year and hosted by Lucy Taylor Gee. The focus is on books related to timely social issues and books written by authors from various nationalities, socio-economic backgrounds, and from minority perspectives across the board. This book club meets the first Monday of each month.

Previous book club books include: Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer, Flights by Olga Tokarczuk and It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis.
