🎉 NEW 🎉 Book Club - Between the Lines - Contemporary Fiction

Hi there,

My name is Lotte, and I've been dreaming of starting a book club for ages. Now the time has finally come, and I am very excited and thrilled to start a contemporary fiction book club!

Contemporary fiction has always been my go-to when selecting a new book. But what exactly is contemporary fiction? Simply put, it's fiction set in the present day, exploring current and modern-day themes and issues. This genre encompasses a variety of sub-genres, including romance, mystery, science fiction, and more. We'll be diving into books published after 2000, leaving us with a plethora of excellent choices.

Personally, contemporary fiction for me includes works like Bonnie Garmus' "Lessons in Chemistry", Chris Whitaker's novels, or anything by Elizabeth Strout. To keep things manageable, I suggest we stick to books under 400 pages. The book club will meet the third Monday of each month from 19:00 - 21:00.
