Book Club 'Part Deux'

Part Deux, hosted by our longest-standing leader Erika Cordes, 'Part Deux' meets in the bookshop on the fourth Monday of each month.

Part Deux is a welcoming book club for readers who love getting lost in a good book and exploring it through lively discussion. We primarily read fiction novels, but we’re open to all genres and formats.

Together we travel across continents, cultures, and histories, discovering stories that delve into identity, belonging, and our place in a changing world.

One of the things we enjoy most is reading books we might not have chosen for ourselves. Each member brings their own tastes and perspectives to the group, giving us the chance to step outside our usual reading habits and encounter authors, genres, and viewpoints we might otherwise have missed. We don’t always agree about what we’ve read, and those differences often lead to our most engaging and memorable discussions.
