We are delighted to host a special evening with Emil Glaser and Nina Schmiegelow founders of Juno the Bakery.
You need only spend a few hours in Copenhagen and someone will have mentioned Juno Bakery to you in mouth watering detail. You will then invariably hop on the train or your bike and plan your morning around a visit to the now world famous bakery in Østerbro.
The delicious, high quality bread, pastries, sandwiches, cakes, and yes, even the line out the door, all contribute to the well deserved success of the bakery and its founder, Emil Glaser.
It is therefore with great pleasure that we invite you to an evening with founder and owner Emil Glaser. An evening all about Juno; its beginnings, its goals, its work, and its beautiful new cookbook, which will be available for sale and signing on the evening.
And as we say at Books & Company, no event about food, without food, so the evening will of course include tastings from Juno The Bakery.
About Emil Glaser and Nina Schmiegelow
The Swedish born founder of Juno started out in Copenhagen as pastry chef at the world renowned restaurant, Noma.
He opened Juno the Bakery in 2017 with his partner Nina Schmiegelow, who has a background in economics, and together they have brought a high-end sense of quality and refinement, as well as Swedish baking traditions, including the signature cardamom buns, to the world of bread and pastries.
