The odd war against Iran has turned prices and economies upside down. The trade-war against Canada will be hurting the economy, local communities, and farmers. And more and more Americans are wondering what’s happening to their country. Old allies are preparing themselves for the next two years! What will happen to the US and to Greenland? To Nato? But is certain - Trump will not become a lame duck. He will fight for his legacy – at home and abroad!

Steffen Gram is DR’s Senior International Correspondent. He has worked for The Danish Broadcasting Corporation since 1976, covering Asia in the 1970s and 1980s, was DR’s correspondent in the United States from 1983 to 1987 and international editor until 1990, when he became the correspondent in the Soviet Union and Russia from 1990 - 1994.
