We are pleased to welcome Ed Ley and Andrew Mina for an engaging conversation exploring Ed Ley’s book Be Where You Are and the evolving world of leadership and the neuroscience that inspired it.
Together, Ed and Andrew will discuss why so many intelligent, capable people find themselves feeling constantly busy, mentally elsewhere, or as though everything depends upon them, despite doing everything they believe they should.
Through stories from the book, practical coaching experiences, and insights from neuroscience and psychology, the conversation will explore questions such as:
What does it really mean to be present?
Why is it so difficult to be fully present at work, at home, and with ourselves?
What really creates stress and burnout?
How do our beliefs shape the way we lead, work, and live?
Is it possible to build success without sacrificing our health, relationships, or sense of self?
Whether you’re a CEO, founder, senior leader, or simply curious about human behaviour, this will be an evening of thought-provoking conversation, practical insights, and audience questions.
About Ed Lay
Ed Ley is a leadership coach who works with CEOs, founders, and senior leaders around the world, helping them lead with greater clarity, presence, and perspective while creating businesses that don’t depend upon them more than they can sustainably give. Originally from the United Kingdom, Ed moved to Denmark in 2017 with his wife and two daughters. With more than twenty years of experience in behavioural change, Ed combines neuroscience, psychology, and practical coaching to help leaders think more clearly, lead more effectively, and create lasting change without sacrificing their health, relationships, or sense of self.
His approach is calm, direct, and deeply human, rooted in curiosity rather than correction, helping people understand why they behave the way they do before exploring how to change it.
Ed has delivered two TEDx talks on human behaviour and performance, and his work continues to shape how leaders think about stress, culture, and self-leadership.
